Micro-Credentials

These are starting up for BPS again, they do work for trade and step up. This summer 6 MC's will be offered. Check out this site to learn more. 

Middle School Mentors

An NEA grant has been awarded to start a Middle School mentoring program that will include a stipend for mentors and every middle school new hire that would like a mentor can have one. Six mentors will be selected. Stay tuned! Email me if you want details!

Training Events

We have started putting together our training calendar for the summer and 22-23 school year. Stay up to date on TIS offerings by going to this link. 

Midas

We have been working hard to move our PIR trade system to a more secure program called Midas. We are hopeful it will be up and running by May 2nd. To check out the beta you can click here. Here is a getting going guide.

1. Type text in a Doc

2. Select Choose Normal text in quick tools and choose ▶ Update ‘Normal Text’ to math

3. Open the text menu again and scroll to the bottom and choose   options ▶

4. Under options ▶ select Save as my default styles

Newsletter by stantons

Phew, my first newsletter since pre-pandemic and I could be more excited to be back in my original TIS position. Although I'll admit, I sure miss having my own students. This year I'm going to try a new tool every month for creating the newsletter. This month I chose Canva and I loved how simple it was to create a beautiful hyperlinked newsletter with options for GIFs, videos, and image editing. I learned there is much more I can be doing with Canva! 

Since this is my first time back and newsletter and blogging I LOVE the updates to Blogger! Wowza!
